Felt Frenzy and Skill Share Demonstration

​Come and join us and make a two sided gorgeous Japanese inspired doll made from many different fabrics plain or felted, 42cm long! Our talented members Di Morley and Mary McMahon will showcase their creative through the making of the adorable doll.

Non-members are welcome to join one introductory session free (observation only). Registration is essential.

Material List to bring:
- Sewing needles.
- Paper Pins and Scissors for pattern.
- Old Wool Tops for stuffing.
- Embroidery Threads for face. (You can use DMC threads or fine wool)
- Buttons for eyes.
- Wool for hair.
- 10 different materials for one side of the doll. (Plus another 10 if you want the other side different)
- Bring your colours to match or choose from some that  will be supplied.
- Piece of nuno felt for body (front and back): 42cmx32cm.
- Piece of nuno felt for both wings: 38cmx30cm. *Contrast colours to body.
- Piece of white felt for head (front and back): 25cmx15cm.
- Piece of felt for collar: 23cmx7cm. *Contrast to body and wings, one piece.
- Neck tie/ribbon.
